Now, my impression is that either:
(a.) nslookup is deprecated to the point of
non-functioning, in which case, remove it,
or
(b.) it's broken, in which case, it needs to be fixed.
As an FYI, both bind-utils-8.2.3-1.1mdk and
bind-utils-8.2.2P7-1.1mdk work fine.
