[Cooker] fine fonts

Hi

I don't think that the new rendering is the cause for the new fonts problem. 

When I start up a Terminal in a new installation i get a window of size (XxY 
cm) 6.3x17 and if I start up an xterm I get a window of size 17x12. According 
to my understanding the xterm window has size 80x25 characters. And if 
everything was nice so should the Terminal be.

Conclusion, some fine scaling is introduced in the algoritm.
