While it was building ok, it was missing some necessary libraries after my
first rebuild.

GConf is a configuration database for the GNOME project.

I found that the reason why GConf --rebuild was not building
libgconf-gtk-1.so.1 is missing libgtk+1.2.
(LM 7.2 had gtk+ 1.2)
Pls add dependency on libgtk+1.2 to later builds of GConf.
