Using 0x5 (dos extended partition) is common place.
Some use 0xf (windows extended partition) so that DOS doesn't understand it.
DrakX now use 0x85 (linux extended partition) in some case. It solves some
stupid Windows pb. This is a really good solution though, especially if you use
something else than diskdrake (eg: pqmagic doesn't know 0x85)

I don't know any bugs in diskdrake of 7.2 !
True, there has been some pb with earlier versions.
