[Cooker] What happened to good old hd install

I regularly rsync cooker and do fresh or update installs with my mirror on my 
harddisk. The last copy of the hd.rdz and vmlinuz (needed bythe harddisk.bat)
is from March 29. the recent rsync deleted the /boot dir.
