Hi All,
I'm having problems booting after I install beta 3. The install seems to go
fine, but when i boot up afterwards the systems freezes after it says:
INIT: version 2.78 booting.
The only error message i could see happened earlier in the boot, it said:
kmod: failed to exec /sbin/modprobe -s -k scsi_hostadapter, errno=2
This happened with the normal boot and the failsafe.
The system I tried the install on:
Athlon T-bird 1Ghz.
384mb RAM
GeForce 2
IBM 75gig Drive (Windows)
Western Digital 15gig Drive (Linux)
Promise Ultra 100 Ata controller.
I had no problems using Mandrake 7.2? Is this a 2.4 kernel problem?
