Hi all,

Things went very smooth tonight. the NFS install was successful.

But the AutoInstall disk I had created contained an empty file for
syslinux.cfg. Consequently, no auto install.

I was also watching the tty3/tty5 screens for errors/warnings and observed the
following:

Just as the Language Select screen appeared:
  trying to load en_US.po
Warning: packdrake: cannot open archive file /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/po.cz2
  trying to load en.po
Warning: packdrake: cannot open archive file /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/po.cz2

Just after selecting Expert Installation and then OK,
warning insmod'ing module imm failed at /usr/bin/perl-install/modules.pm line 575
warning nsmod'ing module ppa failed at /usr/bin/perl-install/modules.pm line 575

Just as the hard disk partition screen was presented:

warning bad magic number at /usr/bin/perl-install/partition_table_empty.pm line 31
found a dos partition table on /dev/hda at sector 0

I am not sure if they are a problem, so this is just FYI. As I said, except
for the AutoInstall disk problem, everything went like a dream.

best regards,
Dave
