Has anyone else gotten this thing to work. I think I saw it install
DHCP 2.0 and then fall back to DrakConf. It didn't make any changes to
iptables (default or nat) and while it may have modified
/etc/sysconfig/network for ipv4 forwarding (showed =true when I looked
later), it didn't do the "echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward" to
start it immediately (or "/etc/rc.d/init.d/network restart" for that
matter).
I wouldn't have even caught this if I hadn't had a CPU fan failure
followed by fried silicon brains shortly afterward. With 8.0 so close
to ready, I figured I'd use it on my home gateway between LAN and cable
modem. Glad I did.
