Hi, I seem to be getting random aborts using fmirror to obtain cooker files from a local high speed mirror. The following is the output: 01:24:05 Transfer rate: 0.10 kb/sec lastfile, 1.45 kb/sec overall 01:24:06 Getting file 'cdREADME' size = 431 [ 0k] ETA 0:00:00 remaining. [ 1560031k] ETA 12:10:12:58 overall. 01:24:06 Transfer rate: 0.70 kb/sec lastfile, 1.44 kb/sec overall 01:24:06 Getting file 'index.htm' size = 8885 [ 4k] ETA 0:00:03 remaining. [ 1560027k] ETA 12:13:39:17 overall. 01:24:07 Transfer rate: 10.79 kb/sec lastfile, 1.71 kb/sec overall 01:25:07 Timeout waiting for reply. Aborting. [david@linux3 cron]$ It always seems to occur when its about to get the next file. However, it may occur early or later in the list of files its trying to get. The package is fmirror-0.8.4-2mdk, on clean install from latest cooker April 14th. Funny thing is, I have a machine right next to it running 7.1 and fmirror-0.8.4-1mdk and it never fails. Any ideas? regards Dave
