I don know how difficult to implement this is but if it can be handled with a
symlink or some compile option it should be dealt with by Mandrakesoft. This
doesn't mean that kde/gnome shouldn't deal formally with it but a distri is
meant to make it easier for the user and this makes it easier for those users
who use a bin.
