Bugs:
1. Intellimouse was not autodetected at the installation time. I could
select "generic wheel" and get it working. Still, kinda strange -
comparing with Windows ... :-)
2. I told to not istall any server packages, still it warned me that I
wanted "to install postfix". Sorry? I explicitly said I did NOT want to
install postfix. I used just package group screen without individual
package selection.
3. In networking configuration (installation time) my 3CP2977 *hardware*
PCI modem was not autodetected making it sort of useless (how should I
know port number?) ... sigh ... and is still claimed to be
Winmodem :(
4. Intellimouse imps2 still not supported by Aurora. How many times should
one report bug to get it fixed?
5. Still problem with russian messages in Harddrake, description panels
(where hardware description is shown). Russian messages are shown in ASCII
characters. Again, it was reported already.
6. For some reasons, rpmdrake shows only "Documentation" under developmemt
tree - still, in flat list I have all of them available and can install,
no problem.
7. Still getting just '???????' inead of greeting message in kdm if going
into level 5.
8. kppp supports only 4 devices (/dev/ttyS) - /dev/ttyS3) while new serial
module assigngs PCI modems starting from ttyS4 ...
9. Very strange default fonts in KDE ... but I have not tried to import
windows fonts yet.
Good points
1. Windows filesystems automatically mounted with correct charsets.
2. /dev/modem is correctly linked to /dev/ttyS4 for my hardware PCI modem
even if this modem cannot be configured by harddrake. Very nice!
