I have a repeatable bug where choosing the sampling-paint tool on Gimp locks the program solid; only kill -9 will release it. The sampling tool probably has a proper name: It's the rubber-stamp icon that takes pixels from one part of the image and duplicates them on some other part. I can click on any other tool, but as soon as I select that one, the previous tool icon stays 'depressed', the rubber-stamp icon goes into 'depressed' state, and gimp seizes. -- Gary Lawrence Murphy <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: office voice/fax: 01 519 4222723 T(C)Inc Business Innovations through Open Source http://www.teledyn.com KernelWiki Community Linux Docs: http://kernelbook.sourceforge.net/wiki
