I myself did not bother with using DrakNet to modify
my network settings; had to modify by hand some files
in /etc/sysconfig after setting up Internet Connection
Sharing; it decided that my local network *has* to be
192.168.0.x instead of 10.10.10.x ... *without*
telling me beforehand.
Annoying but easy to change once I found out what was
going on (ifconfig is your friend).
But hey, any other Linux distro won't even see my
desktop PCMCIA (Cirrus Logic 6729 using the i82365
driver), and while I've not been able to determine how
Mandrake does it (they won't tell either... nasty,
guys :p) I'm a happy camper.
When a .0 release from Mandrake feels more solid than
a .1 release from RH what can one say? (oops,
flamebait)
