I live near Rimini and I confirm you that it's a perfect city for a

Are you sure ?! There is a lot of historical monuments in Rimini and
near this city... don't forget that it was part of the Roman Empire
(...and Ravenna near Rimini was under Bizantine domain ).

...I prefer June and September because July and August are too much
