The AfterStep rpm, and AfterStep APPS rpm consist of ~ 3 Megs together. I
really think that something other on the cd could have been cut besides
that. In has been in Mandrake a long time, and the large group of people
that I switched to Mandrake from Red Hat are all using Afterstep as their
primary window manager, and none of us are very happy that it got pulled.
Please either cut a few of the graphical ftp clients which are on there, or
a few of the games, or something else, or make Mandrake officially be 3 CDs.
The AfterStep community may not be as big as the number of Gnome or KDE
users, or as vocal as the Window Maker folks, but we are out there.
We found a home with Mandrake because it always shipped the latest version
of AfterStep, and actually took the time to setup the menus well for it. I
don't really want to find a new home.
