Same here. There's loads of crap spewing out at the root console about DCOP
not being able to connect to the X server and permission denied. I am writing
this from Gnome, which also has severe problems, but at least it will
actually start !
I am using kde 2.2.0-alpha1, but I have had kde 2.2-alpha1 (or whatever the
one out a week or so ago was) working just fine.
