The creation of the extended partition is kind of broken (ever since).
Imagine you have an empty disk and add partitions (e.g. with auto layout):
+------+--------+----------+--------------+
| hda1 | hda5 | hda6 | hda7 |
+------+--------+----------+--------------+
Now you decide to leave free space on the disk for later partioning, and
delete "hda7", click <Done>..
This results in creation of hda1,hda5,hda6 (obviously . :-))
However, the extended partition on the disk has been truncated to the
size of hda5+hda6 ... doh...
Now you are only able to create another 3 primary partitions, as all
space in the extended partition has already been taken...
I admit this is a 'feature'... but it would be nice if DiskDrake would
add the extended partition "grow to fill disk" - perhaps with a further
Dialog...
