Indeed, what is the legal status of openssh in other countries (specifically Canada where it comes from and USA where trademark/copyright/DMCA/whatever laws are just loopy)? There was that "fuss" earlier this year with SSH (the company) requesting that OpenSSH stop using "ssh" in their name. Has that been resolved? Last I heard Theo de Raadt and the IETF had both given something of a "kiss my ass, we're not changing" sort of responses, but what happened after that? Eaon
