I put the cooker Xemacs (21.4.0) rpms on a stock Mandrake 8.0 box, and the
xemacs-gtk and xemacs-gtk-gnome versions of the binary are essentially
unusable. Clicking on a menu takes easily 20-30 seconds to start it. It may
be that it's a conflict between old 8.0 gnome libraries and the new ones in
cooker.

I'm not going to move my whole system to cooker, but if someone with a full
cooker system can check and reproduce the problem (just start xemacs-gtk
and click on any menu) it *has* to be fixed before shipping. Otherwise if
it's just a cooker/8.0 mixup problem I'll just build it for myself from
sources.

Regards,

Fernando.
