I am still getting the parport_pc error on boot up. parport_pc: Strange, can't probe Via 686A parallel port: io=0x378 irq=-1 dma=-1 I get this no matter how I have the parallel port set in the bios. Also I am still not able to get alsa 0.9.0beta3 to work with the newest kernel. It all compiles but the driver part when you do the depmod has an unresolved sysmbol in the snd_rawmidi.o file.
