I am upgrading initscripts from cooker 5.83-6
source, headers,doc and 2.4.3-27 all in same directory
rpm -ivh *.rpm ...doesn't work spews dependencies everywhere
rpm -Uvh *.rpm ....well, it seems to be working all packages installed
Going into the /boot dir I note that I have a red exclamation point in front 
of and red colored letters in config and System.map
A config-2.4.3-27mdk is there as well as a System.map 2.4.3-27.The vmlinuz
2.4.3-27 is there too.

Do I need to run lilo now?
Can't hurt.
rpm -Uvh seems to have worked fine. I will reboot and see!
