Everything went sweet at reboot except: I had to manually start my internet connection (hung and failed at eth0) Also, "Strange, can't probe Via 686A parallel port: io=0x278, irq=1, dma=1" came up at the login prompt. Any ideas why? Am I going to actually have to do the manly thing and compile 2.4.4? :-O -michael- -- On two occasions I have been asked [by members of Parliament], 'Pray, Mr. Babbage, if you put into the machine wrong figures, will the right answers come out?' I am not able rightly to apprehend the kind of confusion of ideas that could provoke such a question.
