Is there a problem with viewing pdfs in 8.0?

Just tried xpdf and I get errors on the console.

Error: May not be a PDF file (continuing anyway)
Error: (0): PDF file is damaged -attempting to reconstruct xref table
...
Error: Couldn't find trailer dictionary
Error: Couldn't read xref table


gv won't load either.

Adobe views the PDF fine.  

This PDF came from Loki the Linux games people.
