Hi,

I just installed Samba 2.0.9 on my Mandrake 8.0 system. It complained that
inetd.conf doesn't exist, which is correct since I'm running
xinetd. Should the rpm scripts be made a bit smarter?

Here's the session output:

[root@osage mdk-update.d]# rpm -Fvh *rpm
samba ##################################################
chmod: /etc/inetd.conf: No such file or directory
execution of samba-2.0.8-1.1mdk script failed, exit status 1
execution of samba-2.0.9-1.3mdk script failed, exit status 1
samba-client ##################################################
warning: /etc/smb.conf created as /etc/smb.conf.rpmnew
samba-common ##################################################
[root@osage mdk-update.d]#

Thanks.

David
