Opted for no USB at start and got in but the installation partition was not cleanly unmounted from installation. Installed NVIDIA driver as tgz, no problems, and used anti-aliazed fonts - in Konsole or Terminal from panel, got really huge with huge fonts and mc could be used. Konqueror - configure is missing buttons for apply &c and no icon for plugins in the left margin (functions nice in RH 7.1). Lyx has got better fonts - nice. regards guran
