[Cooker] umask problem

I ran msec with custom option, and choose restricted umask. When looking into 
/etc/profile, i find the correct line :
if [[ ${UID} == 0 ]]; then umask 022; else umask 077; fi

However, my current umask as user is 002. Even setting umask=022 in 
..bash_profile doesn't help.

yet another init script problem, i suppose...
