Well, this might be a bit off-topic, but I've been having quite some
success with mod_dav (see http://www.webdav.org/mod_dav/ ). It's very
simple to install, and works like a charm (we use it to upload static
content through "web-folders"). I don't know how web-dav compares to
frontpage, but M$ IE 5 and Office 2K seem to have DAV support all over it.
Actually, I'm surprised that mod_dav isn't in cooker yet (it's going to
be part of the Apache 2.x webserver).
