Anyway: the reason you are getting undefined symbols is because it's simply
not linked against the latset library.
Of course, being broken is relative, the 'broken program' (which I also referred
to in my previous post) is broke because it's not linked against the necessary
libs.
AFter the update to libtool 1.4 it seems that some of the *.a files are
missing. Not sure why. Maybe that is the reason.
