[Cooker] LM 8.0 - Cups problem

Hi

Installed LM 8.0 and setup printer (Epson Stylus Photo 870 USB).
Everything
worked fine. Upgraded Cups from the LM 8.0 update.

Now everytime I run Kups I get the message:
"Can't connect to CUPs server. Check your options!"

I have reverted to original Cups package from LM 8.0 and I still get the
same
problem

Also trying to add a printer now and it freezes the machine... need a
reboot!!!

This was working fine before :(

Any idea?
