Looks like I bombed poor tux again.. and now i've got problems.

Looks like the mirrors are back up, so I grabbed the 6/5/01 PCMCIA
image off sunet.uio.no. About that time, AT&T changed the cable system
out here - to the point where they had to swap out the modems with
different ones. (old one was a motorola, new one is an RCA)

Anyway, boot the floppy - select ftp from the menu. brings up the
network
card ok. Tell it to get IP from DHCP server, and it says that there
is no response from the server. Retry multiple times, same thing.

I have the techs at AT&T trying to tell me what changed - and they
don't seem to know. Has anyone else had a problem with the PCMCIA image
DHCP negotiation?

OK, so give up on DHCP, and enter my static IP, gateway, dns, etc.
put in the address for ftp.sunet.se with the cooker directory.
It FINDS the directory, then tells me it can't de-compress second stage.

So... is this one problem, two problems, or three problems?

Help!

Thanks,

Vinny
