Hi

VERSION (rsync ftp.sunet.se)
Linux-Mandrake Cooker-i586 20010608 12:16

OBS! ASUS P3V4X with VIA APOLLO PRO133A Chipset

During halfway through in install I got the 'prerequisite chain Error'

Ctrl-Alt-F3 ->
(the last packages successfully installed are)
libxml
XFree86-xfs
gnome-libs
openssl
gdk-pixbuf-loader
gdk-pixbuf
gcc-cpp
(advertising ...)
liboaf0 - the last letter should be a 'zero' but my keyboard seems to have
given up.
...
...
opened rpm database for transaction of 8 new packages still 517 after that to
do.
warning: error ordering packages list: loop in prerequisite chain: GConf
libGConf1 GConf XXXXXXX... at /usr/bin/perl-install/pkgs.pm in line 1335

To my understanding the fault might be introduced by some of the above files
- for example if the ASCII code is scrambled then otherwise correct code
might get dangerous.

regards
guran
