Hello Cookerite, A trivia matter but rather nagging for me - under the past several versions of Mandrake (cannot remember since when but at least since 7.2) the Windows key can be used in itself but cannot be used like the Ctrl and Alt keys - I used to bind Win+R to 'run' under GNOME and this is not possible in Mandrake (never managed to get KDE to do that, bonus cookies for those who can solve that). The files under /etc/X11/xkb seems to be pretty similar under Mandrake and Progeny (the only non-Mandrake distro I have installed at the moment).. so I am not sure what is going on. IMHO this should be fixed so that in the future the Win key works as in other distros. This tried using an international keyboard layout (pc105) on both my desktop keyboard (Dell-branded generic) and my laptop (Sony C1VE) using the GB keyboard layout. Thanks in advance, Regards, Michel
