I think it is time to include it in cooker, but perhaps it is not secure
to replace 2.96. 'alternatives' look like the best option now...
What I do not like is the naming. A bit assymetric:
gcc-2.96-0.53mdk
gcc3.0-3.0-1mdk
Do not know if it is possible to have both gcc's in cooker without conflicts
like:
gcc-2.96-0.53mdk
gcc-3.0-1mdk
I suppose that gcc-3.0 will try to overwrite 2.96 if named that way, not
live togheter.
Names could be changed to
gcc2-2.96-0.53mdk
gcc3-3.0-1mdk
libstdc++2-2.96-0.53mdk
libstdc++3-3.0-1mdk
following the naming for libs...
