My writing was based on the observation, that the official treatment of a 
bug-report was abandoned, i.e.
1) bug-report
2) is the bug reproduced, that is real
3) give it a bug number

One possible answer could have been, thanks - we will fix it.

My 'essay' aimed to show a scenario where the tester is faulted when he has 
not understood the timetable of the maintainer. Your writing could be read 
that way.
