FYI, the german computer magazine iX (which usually is really good, unlike
the vast majority of its kind) just did a comparison between the current
versions of Mandrake, RH, SuSE and Caldera with the result that none
of them is particularly bad or good in general, just Mandrake 8.0 was not
quite as good as the others because it only detected 900MB out of 3GB
of one of their test boxes and they could not figure out what to do about
it.
