I used to use gpsman --- GPS Manager: a manager for GPS receiver data
which can be found on http://www.ncc.up.pt/~mig/gpsman.html
In the doc of gpsman one could read that's there are known problem
with Tcl/Tk 8.0 and that the 8.3 works.
It worked very good with the old version of Tcl/Tk, but with that one,
I can't communicate with my gps (Garmin eTrex).
Gpspoint which can be found on
http://scampi.physik.uni-konstanz.de/~tschank/gpspoint
works just great, but it doesn't have a map feature, calculation of
tracks lenght and so on ;-))
Maybe someone know another one which has all feature, or how to solve
the 8.3.3 problems of accessing /dev/ttyS0?
