People have already mentioned some of these problems, namely:

1.) rpmdrake (MandrakeUpdate) crashes on startup, I haven't been able to 
figure out why, but I think rpm-devel needs rebuilding.

2.) KDE menu icons are mostly all missing.

3.) kdebase needs rebuilding as it depends on a glib version that 
doesn't exist.

4.) The biggest problem of all (which I haven't seen mentioned) is that 
g++ does not understand the -D flag so that nothing that uses defines 
can be compiled.

5.) gcc3.0 in contribs doesn't contain the gcc executable.

6.) When samba was installed it left the old version there, this is odd 
behavior, probably because of a failed %post script.
