I use Linuxconf for profiling. Unfortunately, drakprofile seems totally
broken and Linuxconf doesn't seem to auto-checkout the correct profiles
anymore either.
So my solution has been to shut down my token ring connection when at
work, then run 'linuxconf --selectprofile Home' before I go home. Then
before I go to work i shut down my ethernet connection, run 'linuxconf
--selectprofile Office' and go on my way.
I *really* wish I could figure out why linuxconf isn't checking out the
profiles based on LILO options, but I'm kinda stumped.
I have:
append=" profile=Home"
and such in my lilo.conf but it doesn't work properly.
