[Cooker] kernel 24.5 and 24.6 hangs under heavy io load

when i do heavy io via nfs with 2.4.5 or 2.4.6-2 mdksmp kernels
kswapd and kupdated takes all the cpu, disk activity becomes
very high, and system freezes. When i stop the process on the client side
which sended the data, disk activity remains high 5 ou 10 minutes 
with system frozen, and then system unblocks. top shows a load of 20 !!

I have no problems with 2.4.4-6
