hmm. Crozat not back to work until monday so i will try (probably in
vain). Since crozat is not around to modify the postin script, you must
use bash before he can add a #!/bin/bash.

Nonono.

If i didnt know better...well...since i dont know better, I'll say it
seems to update-menus just fine, then gets to "run ldconfig before
regxpcom"
the error message is from
if [ -f /usr/lib/mozilla/rebuild-databases.sh ]; then
    /usr/lib/mozilla/rebuild-databases.sh
fi

and for some reason zsh
* * *
it is not zsh problem on my sys...but it must be.
* * *
no. all this is wrong. I'm am trying all sorts of tedious debug
methods and the above may not be the case at all.
* * *
I have not been able to reproduce. sorry. I tried dissecting...wait

Hey you: dissect the postin script to find out where it has the problem
since for some reason i cant get the error message here. Keep in mind
that rpm (I think) runs it through /bin/sh so fool around with various
environements (ie zsh->sh,sh,zsh, bash->zsh->sh :)). it may be the
first few if [ statements that are the problem in which case...hmm...
* * *
consider also removing the || true
crozat needs to fix the missing ; on the rebuild databases if-then
statement but I think small chance that is a problem.
* * *
Interesting...
* * *
also fool around with that f'ed up rebuild script in /usr/lib/mozilla
which may give clue as to your environments problem with the [ having
too many args. I'm losing it here...

good luck and
best regards,
Blue
