We may want to double-check the RPM dependencies; I don't have a
smoking gun, and it is just as likely my own recklessness, but after
updating the RPM package, I found that the rpmtools was not updated
and RPM itself is now broken.  I've learned that you can endure a
lot of packages being broken, but without RPM you're in deep trouble ;)
