[Cooker] kdm broken?

I run the last Friday (20July) sync of cooker. Out of interest I've enabled
GUI (normally I just run startx). I could not login. Attempt to login just
results in KDM login screen again. Attempt to do console login results in
KDM login screen. I had to Ctrl-Alt-F1 to kill X11.

No errors in XFree log.

Anybody else had this issue?
