                I guess the question should be, then, are those other features
worth the 6.5+ megs difference in the file? What I mean is...are those other
features you hint at used by the great majority of the users of urpmi? Or are
those features esoteric enough that only 2% of the users care about them? If
the answer is that the features are used by the majority of the urpmi users,
then it's worth keeping the big file (and worth me going to read the urpmi
documentation :) but if only a small minority needs/uses those features...it
may be worth it to ax the filesize to something more manageable.

        I guess this is something for the mdk/urpmi hackers to think about, now
that I've put forth my few (tho I think valid) arguments about the huge file.

PS: BTW, I'd love to know what urpmi features would die if the file where to be
stripped to just the synthesis file :)
