I just uninstalled the binary version of the as6e
driver I had installed and installed your binary
downloaded from
http://mandrakesoft.com/~yduret/scanner/ Everything
worked great. I'm excited to have this RPM with the
mandrake distribution. A little background on this
driver is that it makes not just one type of scanner
work but rather several differant kinds. The company
that made this driver sold huge amounts under several
differant companies who in turn gave them differant
names. Some look a little weird but all can use the
same software to make them run.
