Sorry this condition is the same as in mandrake freq#2. Whenever you need to 
put in a new media simply hit the eject button then put in the new one. then 
as root do mount /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom or whatever divice you are trying to 
mount. For some reason I dont have to issue an unmount command just a new 
mount for every new cdrom or watever. I'm just guessing but as far as I can 
figure supermount is messing up only the mounting of media but the unmount 
either still works or is maybe broken in some other way. At anyway if you try 
to issue an unmount you get an error.
At least this is what works for me.
