OK, I believe there's no way for /incoming to give read permission to
others (and it shouldn't). So right now my SRPMs are in:

That's true only if you are installing the binary RPM in cooker.

Heh heh heh, gtkhtml-0.10 really needs control-center 1.4.x, so there's no
easy way fixing, except remove control-center with --nodeps option. For
others.... if you're lazy, then recompile libcapplet SRPM with
Obsoletes: control-center < 1.5
Then use "rpm -Uvh libcapplet0-......." to install libcapplet.so.0 .
Or if you have much more time you can remove all those packages then add
them back again later. But I'd suggest recompiling, since (IMHO) the
libcapplet API has some significant changes, and programs will start to
fail to work if not recompiled.
For compiling control-center, control-center-plus and ximian-setup-tools
that's strict forward.
