[Cooker] screem not working?

Hello,

        Tried to run screem today, and has the same problem it's had for ages.
Says "Initialising Guile", "Loading DTD's", "Initialising gnome-vgs", 
"Creating Interface" - then hangs forever.

        Anybody have this working ?
