Hi!
I would very much appreciate, if /etc/sysconfig/mouse could be
extended by a "extra" parameter. This "extra" parameter should not be
touched by any Mandrake tool, but be filled by the user. For instance,
I'd set:
extra="-3"
And then /etc/init.d/gpm should simply suffix $extra when starting gpm,
like so:
daemon gpm -t $MOUSETYPE -m $MOUSEDEVICE $extra
