syslinux need to be updated, but difference between 1.48 and 1.62 and almost
only network related, so syslinux is almost the same, only very few differences
on core code and a lot on rendering (vga16 support in 1.62 only, whereas the
syslinux in Mandrake support vga256 graphics).

Yes, problably if PXE tools get used.
