rpminst is still broken...this is causing other break downs as well. Despite the fact that I have manually installed all of the files for the printer upgrade in DrakConf, it still tries to download and install everytime I click on it for the 1st time after opening DrakConf. It will hangup on install because of the grpmi bug and I have to kill the process. Then it will show up properly. Also the LILO/Grub configurator is now completely broken, it won't even attempt to load up. What is the name of that program? Another thing, since rpminst is not working properly, it has forced me to upgrade through kpackage. The curious thing is... that the kernel upgrades properly from within kpackage but not from within rpminst. In short, all of the links are created, as well as the initrd.img created and properly linked. The only thing it does that I don't like is it creates a new kernel option in lilo 247-14. This creates problems when next upgrade happens unless this new option is removed from lilo. Otherwise when lilo is automatically run in the script it will fail since the kernel upgrade would have removed the previous kernel.
